The Imitating Poison Frog is a very small frog 17mm – 22mm, with large eyes. It is an excellent jumper and climber, having long slender legs and expanded tips to its fingers and toes. The skin has a granular look and is very glossy. Coloration is very variable and occurs in three distinct colors depending on its location. This specimen has a bright orange body with blue legs and belly, but most commonly consists of yellow or green patterns on a black background. You can find this frog in Eastern Peru.
